Pharmacy Technician
1199 SEIU Employment Center can help you to jump - start your career with opportunities at our thriving major Medical Centers with divisions in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, New York. Positions available are Full Time and Part- Time; Positions include a comprehensive union benefits package and competitive salaries. Starting Salary is $47,840 - $52,000 per year. Candidate must be open to work weekends, evenings and nights shifts. HSD/GED required. Pharmacy Technician Certification and Registration Required. Excellent Customer Service skills required. MUST be available to attend 4 to 6 weeks FULL- TIME "paid training" from 8am - 4pm Monday through Friday - NO EXCEPTIONS. Candidates must provide proof of vaccination prior to interview.
Job Requirements:REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of a recognized Pharmacy Tech training Program or equivalent hospital pharmacy experience required (CHPT or PTCB)
- Current license as a registered pharmacy technician in NYS, required when hired on/after 4/25/21
- Ability to learn computerized hospital pharmacy system.
- 1-3 years, experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Experience in a healthcare facility strongly preferred
- Covid-19 vaccination requirement- Our health care employers will require proof of Covid-19 vaccination as a condition of employment. No Exceptions!
