Successfully function as a Pharmacy Technician as defined by the Missouri/ Oklahoma/ Arkansas Board of Pharmacy. The pharmacy technician will help a licensed pharmacist provide medication and other health care products to patients within the hospital or other entities under the in-patient pharmacy's jurisdiction. Technicians usually perform routine tasks to help prepare ordered medications for patients. The certified technician will not have supervisory duties over other technicians but will be a resource person for entry level technicians. Technicians will refer any questions regarding orders, drug information, or health matters to a pharmacist.
Required education: High School Diploma or equivalence exam Required licensure: Current Missouri/Oklahoma/Arkansas Technician license in good standings. PTCB Certification upon hire.
