Description
We are looking for pharmacy technicians for high volume independent pharmacy.
Work duties include but are not limited to:
- Processing prescriptions electronically and filling the prescription while ensuring all information is accurate and complete
- Maintaining records by recording and filing the prescriptions and orders of physicians
- Answering phone calls
- Assisting customers
- Sorting, stocking and labeling medications and monitoring inventory
- Responding to the requests of patients and healthcare providers, answering their questions and referring various inquiries to the Pharmacist
- Complying with rules, regulations and procedures to help maintain a clean and safe pharmacy
- Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must be dependable, reliable, have attention to detail, be able to multi-task
- Pay commensurate with experience
