Description
We are seeking a motivated Pharmacy Technician to became a part of our growing team. You will assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of dedicated pharmacists committed to superior patient care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare medication and other healthcare products for retail and long-term care patients
- Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders
- Process prescriptions using Rx30 pharmacy software and PointClickCare healthcare software
- Label and record dosage information
- Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
- Assist patients in the retail store with over-the-counter supplements
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting
- Previous experience with Rx30 pharmacy software
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and note-taking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Sign on bonus available for new candidate with start date of May 1st.
