Description
Green Tree Pharmacy is a long term care pharmacy located in Minonk, IL, which currently serves almost 100 long term care facilities. As we continue to expand our services, we are in need of a Pharmacy Technician. This position is responsible for filling prescription orders from nursing facilities under the supervision of a staff pharmacist.
Responsibilities:
* Create and update patient profiles
* Enter new prescriptions into the pharmacy management system with accuracy and efficiency under supervision of a pharmacist
* Process requests for refilled prescriptions
* Contact prescriber/nursing facility for clarification or refill authorization as directed by the pharmacist
* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
* Illinois Licensed and Certified as a Pharmacy Technician preferred but not required
* Pharmacy background in data-entry and proficient typing skills are preferred, but will train for the right candidate
* Excellent communication skills
* Must be dependable and have reliable attendance
* Must work well in team environment
Vaccine Mandate: Effective November 1, 2021, all current staff and new hires must either be vaccinated or have one of the following: received the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine or the first dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine - 2nd dose will be required.
