Description

In this role, the Pharmacy Technician will assist in the provision of pharmaceutical services under the direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist by performing the technical, clerical and manipulative tasks involved in dispensing, preparing and distributing all medications and pharmaceutical products for all patient age groups. This individual s performance shall conform to written established hospital policies and procedures as well as be trained in aseptic technique for preparing IV solutions.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required within one (1) year of hire. Candidates who do not possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent will be provided the opportunity to enroll in a GED/HSEA program at time of hire as a condition of employment. A hired candidate will be provided one (1) year from date of hire to successfully complete a GED program and obtain their HSEA.
