JFK Outpatient Pharmacy

Edison, NJ

As a full time non-exempt CPS® Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Schedule: This position will work full-time 40 hours per week on a varying schedule.

About the Facility: Founded in 1967, JFK Medical Center is a non-profit, 498-bed community hospital, serving residents of Middlesex, Union and Somerset counties in Central New Jersey. With more than 900 affiliated physicians, JFK offers a complete array of advanced services, including general and specialized surgery, cardiac care, maternity and pediatric care, and emergency medicine. CPS® has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS®.

About the Pharmacy: The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am-7:00pm.

Required Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED
* Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
* Experience working with Rx30 preferred, but will train
* NJ Licensure required
* Proficient computer skills including experience using Google
* Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements:

* (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between October 1st - March 31st
* COVID-19 Vaccination
