Where's the list of job responsibilities?
We think you already know that "filling prescriptions accurately" is part of the deal. In the end, we think that company culture has a bigger impact on job happiness in retail pharmacies than job duties. If you have a dream list of job duties with a bad manager, eventually you'll want to move on. We know that awesome employees are rare, so our goal when we find them is to give them the space to be awesome.
What makes your pharmacy different from other retail pharmacies?
Our mission has always been to provide affordable pharmaceutical care to those who pay out of pocket for their healthcare. We view our pharmacy as both a resource for providers and a source of savings for patients. We also have a passion for compounding.
What kind of hours do you work?
The pharmacy is open from 9am - 6pm on Monday - Friday and 9am - 1pm on Saturday. We're closed on Sundays.
How old is your pharmacy?
We have been open for eight years, and have grown from one employee to current count of nine. We are excited for what the next eight years has in store!
Do I need compounding experience?
Nope! We know that compounding experience is rare. What we are looking for is someone who knows how to have positive interactions with customers and co-workers, and is super smart. We can teach you all you need to know about compounding if you are willing to learn.
Do you provide traditional benefits?
Unfortunately not. As a small business, the cost to provide benefits, especially health insurance, is prohibitive. The barrier is the number of enrollees, so we will look to add traditional benefits as we grow.
Anything you want to include for legal reasons?
Absolutely! You must be a licensed pharmacist in good standing in Oklahoma. Physical demands in order to successfully perform essential job functions: must be able to stand for long periods of the day; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally; must be able to use hands or arms to operate tools and equipment; must be able to kneel, crouch or use ladders on occasion.
