Position Description:
Home Infusion Therapy

Under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician is responsible for, but not limited to preparing pharmacy orders for filling and sterile compounding, and maintaining work areas and stocks. This position will also aid in the maintenance of environmental controls as well as collection of compliance data. Incumbent may be required to rotate shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by the operating needs of Penn Home Infusion Therapy. This position is located in King of Prussia, PA.

Minimum Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent with course work in the sciences.
Three to five years' experience as a pharmacy technician in a hospital, home infusion, or long term care setting is required, and a good working knowledge of compounding sterile products according to USP 797 standards preferred.

Pharmacy Technician Certification is required.
