Summary:
Provides distributive pharmacy services and support for the pharmacy department. Serves as trainer and mentor for other Technicians and students and assists to ensure proper drug storage, maintenance and sterile compounding to meet regulatory compliance.

Detailed responsibilities:
Performs cross functional duties of Technician I and Technician II.
Leads other technicians to help manage daily operational workflow.
Able to perform and independently function in at least one pharmacy specialty area needed to meet the needs of the department (neonates, oncology, purchasing, automation, auditing, reimbursement, TPN, etc.).
Able to perform Pharmacy projects independently under the direction of Pharmacy leadership.

Complexity of Work: Must be able to work in two (2) specialty functions. This role requires critical thinking skills, effective communication, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimum supervision. The incumbent must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action when required.
