Pharmacy Technician II - Harmony ED Outpatient Retail Pharmacy




Summary:
Provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the registered pharmacist and patients. Acts as a mentor for Level I technicians.

Vaccines are not administered to the public at this site.

No drive thru window to staff.

Respectable transparency, communication, positive interaction and direct access to providers.

Work Schedule: Full Time, 64 hours/pay period, Rotating

Responsibilities:

  • Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems and/or processes incoming prescriptions.
  • Fills medication prescription orders for patients on a daily basis. These processes and fills prescription orders focuses with the utmost attention, communication and interaction particular to the patient.
  • Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department and/or assists with shelving and stocking of medications
  • Audits medication inventory for stock on-hand quantity and expiration.
  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take mindful appropriate action in the focus of the patient outcome and collaborative approach with all team members.
  • Keeps the positive patient experience at the forefront leading through our trusted expertise, exceptional outcomes and innovative patient-centric approach.


Requirements:

  • Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED.
  • Required Licensure/Certification: PHAT (Pharmacy Technician) certification from State Board of Pharmacy.
  • No emergency department experience needed. Retail pharmacy experience is preferred.


The pay range for this position is: $20.87 - $27.13 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
