* Assists pharmacist(s) in all areas of pharmacy operations, including prescription preparation, sales transactions, customer service, and purchasing and inventory maintenance.

* Education/Training
* High school graduation or equivalent
* Experience
* 6 months pharmacy technician experience in a retail setting or equivalent training.
* License/Certification/Registration
* Must have successfully completed the pharmacy technician certification through the nationally accredited certification examination of PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) or the ExCPT (Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians). Pharmacy technician licensure or registration as required by the state where the pharmacy is located.
