Part Time
Day/Evening Shift Job Description: Under the direct supervision of the appropriate supervisor and Pharmacist, fills routine orders for unit doses and prepackaged pharmaceuticals and performs other related duties.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Assists pharmacists as directed including filling orders and preparing labels.
- Assists patient, taking prescription, necessary information, etc. Operates cash register. Delivers medications as needed.
- Submits and receives orders from suppliers.
- Enters and/or retrieves data from established computer files using knowledge of various computer software applications.
- Assists with I.V. preparation and delivery.
Qualifications: - Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training in a Pharmacy Technician Program
- 3 - 6 months experience required
