Successfully function as a Pharmacy Technician as defined. The pharmacy technician will help a licensed pharmacist provide medication and other health care products to patients within the hospital or other entities under the in-patient pharmacy's jurisdiction. Technicians usually perform routine tasks to help prepare ordered medications for patients. The certified technician will not have supervisory duties over other technicians but will be a resource person for entry level technicians. Technicians will refer any questions regarding orders or health matters to a pharmacist. Required education: High School Diploma or equivalence exam Required Required experience: 1 year Client Hospital pharmacy tenure or active PTCB Certification upon hire. Other: Client Hospital Pharmacy tenure of 1 year or greater and completion of Phase I & II training as defined.
