+ POSITION SUMMARY
+ Assists pharmacist in patient demographic and insurance information entry into the computer system. Prescription entry, prior authorization requests, drug selection, and filling Specialty/Infusion prescriptions accurately. Keeps the pharmacy clean, neat, organized. Provides outstanding customer service by working with patients on delivery arrangements.
+ POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
+ Minimum Education
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Minimum Experience
+ None
+ Required Registration/License/Certification
+ Alabama State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration.
+ National Certification from an accredited pharmacy technician certification program approved by specific state regulations (e.g. PTCB, ExCPT, etc.).
+ Preferred Education
+ High School Diploma
+ Preferred Experience
+ 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience
+ Previous experience with ScriptPro Pharmacy Management System or ScriptPro Robotics Systems
+ Preferred Registration/License/Certification
+ Valid Driver's License
