+ POSITION SUMMARY
+ Assists pharmacist in patient demographic and insurance information entry into the computer system. Prescription entry, prior authorization requests, drug selection, and filling Specialty/Infusion prescriptions accurately. Keeps the pharmacy clean, neat, organized. Provides outstanding customer service by working with patients on delivery arrangements. Provide timely deliveries to EAMC, EAMC Lanier, physician offices, patient residences, and/or places of work. Packages and mails daily outgoing prescription shipments.
+ POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
+ Minimum Education
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Minimum Experience
+ None
+ Required Registration/License/Certification
+ Alabama State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration. If licensed after January 1, 2020 must obtain Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate (CPhT) or complete an ALBOP approved technician training program within 6 months of licensure.
+ Valid Driver's License
+ Preferred Education
+ High School Diploma
+ Preferred Experience
+ Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
+ Previous experience with ScriptPro Pharmacy Management System or ScriptPro Robotics Systems
+ Preferred Registration/License/Certification
+ National Certification from an accredited pharmacy technician certification program approved by specific state regulations (e.g. PTCB, ExCPT, etc.)
