Description
The Pharmacy Supply/Receiver Technician is responsible for the technical functions performed within the Pharmacy Department. Responsible for inspecting and receiving of all pharmaceuticals and related products, including, handling, storage and maintenance of inventory, and distribution of medical/surgical supplies. They will assist with the validation of bar-code medications, performs all recalls removal and ensure appropriate documentation. The individual will also assist departmental supervisors with personnel training related to position.
Qualifications
Degrees: High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper Additional Qualifications: Currently registered as Pharmacy Technician in the state of Florida preferred. Previous supply chain/hospital experience required. Individual must be able to coordinate and assure completion of departmental services in the absence of a supervisor. Self starter with excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills required. Must be able to prioritize tasks, work independently as well as a member of a team. Must be computer literate and be able to perform basic addition and subtraction. Minimum Required Experience:
