Description
Under the direction of the Accountable Compliance Officer, ensures Distribution practices are in conformance with the Code of Federal Regulations and state requirements relating to pharmaceuticals. Identifies and investigates suspicious activity that may compromise the legitimacy of daily orders prior to fulfillment. Practices 200% Safety – Self and Others. What You'll be Doing : Continuously monitors a variety of reporting tools to identify ‘suspicious’ orders—those exceeding the Meijer system-generated threshold for controlled substances in compliance with the Code of Federal Regulations covering Controlled Substances. Identifies and follows-up on orders of unusual size and/or frequency, and those deviating substantially from a normal pattern Coordinates investigations of orders deemed suspicious or of interest. Responsible for on time and accurate submission of all required Federal and State pharmaceutical reporting (i.e., ARCOS, OARRS) Directs pharmaceutical distribution processes and procedures to ensure compliance with current and upcoming (i.e., DSCSA, new states we are entering, etc. ) state and federal regulations. Maintains and keeps current the Standard Operating Procedures documents for all PSC sites. Plays a lead role in regulatory visits at any of the 3 PSC sites. What You Bring with You (Qualifications): Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, or Analytics or related field Working knowledge of distribution operations & warehouse management systems normally obtained through formal education or a minimum of one year experience. Pharmaceutical distribution experience preferred Compliance and or Governmental experience/background preferred. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Organization skills with focus on detail. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Extensive analytical and investigative skills. Past responsibility for projects that require data mining, analysis, trending and identifying drivers in data and relevant trends. Proficient and skilled in effectively communicating through the use of Microsoft Office tools (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Working knowledge (or technical ability to acquire working knowledge) of: Alteryx, Teradata, Microstrategy, Genetec, Power BI (Power Query, Power Pivot), SQL Assistant, DB2, XBR, EPS, MIRS, BI Query, Microsoft Office Suite General Knowledge of drug diversion regulations
