Description: This Pharmacy Resident program is in conjunction with the University of Georgia. During this one year training program the residents will deepen their clinical and leadership skills while becoming competent in medication entry and dispensing through supervised shifts in the main pharmacy. During the week day they will spend time with our clinical pharmacists in various specialty areas such as nephrology, critical care, internal medicine and home care.# Each resident provides education for their team and the nursing staff on their assigned rotation. On top of their clinical rotations the residents will be responsible for developing and completing a longitudinal project and participate in administrative functions such as antimicrobial stewardship and review of medication usage. ## Experience/Qualifications: BS in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree Licensed or eligible for licensure by the Georgia State of Pharmacy
