Work Schedule:

100% FTE, 1.0 position. Scheduled to work Monday - Friday during daytime hours with rotating on-call responsibilities. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Pharmacy Manager to:

* Manage and lead pharmacy services for clinic operations, Digestive Health Center, and the infusion center.
* Manage and lead pharmacists, pharmacy residents, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy students, pharmacy interns and other support staff who provide patient care for patients.
* Collaborates and works across the UW Health system in order to facilitate the shared interests and relationship between departments and entities.

Education:

Minimum - Bachelor's degree in pharmacy

Preferred -

* Pharm D degree
* Master's degree in pharmacy administration, healthcare administration, business or other relevant subject area

Work Experience:

Minimum - Completion of an ASHP PGY2 pharmacy residency in health-system pharmacy administration or five (5) years of relevant work experience

Preferred - Three years of health-system pharmacy leadership or management experience

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Licensed as a pharmacist in Wisconsin or must obtain within 90 days of hire date

Preferred - Certification through the appropriate certifying program (Board of Pharmacy Specialties, National Board of Nutrition Support Certification, National Certification Board for Anticoagulation Providers, Specialty Pharmacy Certification Board, etc.).

These employees perform various services and duties, including pharmacy administration, Pharmacy Technician Training Program, pharmacy primary care services, medication prior authorization, sterile and non-sterile compounding, specialty/mail service program and call center.
