Description
Reports to the Director of Pharmacy and works closely with the Administrative Manager(s) in charge of Pharmacy Operations. Is responsible for managing the provision of all patient care related pharmacy services for patients in the assigned area. Provides leadership for professional staff and provides overall assurance that pharmaceutical services meet patient care needs and are as economical as possible.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Must have obtained an advanced degree (Pharm.D. or equivalent), completed a residency program approved by the American Society of Hospital Pharmacists, a fellowship in pharmacy, or have demonstrated a similar level of achievement in the practice of hospital pharmacy. Must be licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of Michigan. Should be Board Certified in his/her area of specialty practice.
