Daily Responsibilities for Pharmacy Fulfillment Specialist - CPhT/RPhT:
- Follows quality assurance aspects of the prescription dispensing process per policy and procedures, under the direction and supervision of a licensed Pharmacist which may include but not limited to:
- Assists the pharmacist in filing prescriptions; printing daily reports and other records and other clerical tasks as needed
- Assists with the selection of prescription medication lots, counting, packaging and labeling of products and performs all pertinent aspects of prescription filling and dispensing
- Assists pharmacists with pharmaceutical inventory management and maintenance, receiving, restocking and rotation of products and supplies
- Refers to a pharmacist for dispensing-related questions
- Assists with inventory control by utilizing expired drug return program and managing slow moving inventory reports and inventory overstock transfers and returns
- Assists with appropriate logging, tracking and documentation of prescription orders, as necessary, to assure compliance to payer requirements
Requirements for an Pharmacy Fulfillment Specialist - CPhT/RPhT:
- 1+ years of pharm tech experience
- CPhT or RPhT
- Must have polished and professional customer service skills
- Strong computer and data entry skills
Hours for Pharmacy Fulfillment Specialist - CPhT/RPhT:
- Monday through Friday | 8:30am - 5:30pm
- No on-call, nights, weekends
