Shift: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday thru Friday and work every third weekend
This position will also require travel 1-2 days per week to different locations to load medications in electronic e-kits. Your own care and insurance will be required and you will be provided with a gas card.

Responsibilities
* The Exchange Coordinator assists the pharmacist with preparation of routine medications for distribution to facilities based on physician orders and prescriptions
* Fill cycle medication orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner
* Review pre-pack list and prepare 30/31 day cards with the appropriate drug
* Works under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist assisting with dispensing medication according to the prescription
* Assist the inventory tech with restocking and cleaning shelves with medication and other items as needed
* May assist with regular inventory cycle
* Assist in shipping the medications according to the facility and work with the shipping clerk to ensure boxes are shipped in a timely manner
* Sort prescriptions according to facility and print packing slips for cycle exchange
* Communicate with nursing staff to obtain/provide key information
* Follow all applicable government regulations including Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Pharmacy technician certification in the appropriate state
* Minimum one year of related experience in data entry
* Excellent data entry skills
* Attention to detail and be able to work under deadlines
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
