Position Description:
A member of the pharmacy department support staff who assists in the provision of pharmacy services as authorized by the NJ State Board of Pharmacy Rules and Regulations. Responsible for assisting pharmacy operations focusing on medication storage and safety on the nursing units. In addition, appropriately supports the pharmacy technicians in delivering medications to support timely medication administration.

The Pharmacy Courier position will serve as an opportunity to upskill staff and expand their capabilities. The position is designed for individuals who are interested in The Pharmacy Tech Training Program at Mercer County Community College.

Penn Medicine Princeton Health will collaborate with Mercer County College to cover the programs tuition. Individuals hired into this role will be expected to attend the necessary courses outside of their scheduled work hours.

Qualifying candidates will be hired as Pharmacy Couriers while the program is completed and transitioned into a Pharmacy Tech roles as they are certified and openings are available.

Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma Required.
