Providence is calling a Pharmacy 340B Analyst (1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week, Variable Shift) to Medication Management Clinic at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, Washington.

The 340B Program Analyst employs intellectual, interpersonal, and technical skills through the utilization of pharmacy processes. Under the direct supervision of the Manager Ambulatory Pharmacy and the Director of Pharmacy, maintains the mapping of the Sentinel RCM platform, works to ensure 340B drug purchases maximize pharmaceutical cost savings and works in conjunction with Finance to investigate, correct, and modify any billing NDC discrepancies and pricing issues.

The 340B Program Analyst may also review 340B Contract Pharmacy pharmaceutical invoices prior to final approval by Director of Pharmacy; compile and prepare invoices for the amount due to Sentry for Retail Pharmacy; computes monthly 340B savings report from Cardinal; reviews amount due from Retail Pharmacy and follows up on discrepancies or past due amounts; perform audits of hospital-wide 340B claims and pricing as well as contract pharmacies as directed by schedule outlined by Director.

The 340B Program Analyst shall assists the Pharmacy Buyer, as needed, for GPO/WAC/340B purchase determination. The 340B Program Analyst may prepare ad hoc reports to analyze 340B specific purchase trends or other trends; may coordinate implementation of new or updated 340B compliance issues.

Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of patient's status. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide for the primary population of patients served in the department.

In this position you will:

* Maintain Sentinel RCM pharmacy platform, including reviews and corrects all unmapped items, insures 340B saving opportunities are acted upon, including Penny Buys, review change logs on Datanex page, review and respond to Sentinel RCM alerts and monitor the diversion detection system.
* Review 340B Contract Pharmacy pharmaceutical invoices prior to forward to Director of Pharmacy for final approval; compiles and prepares the invoices for the amount due to Sentry for Retail Pharmacy; resolves discrepancies with Contract Pharmacy payments and outstanding collections.
* Prepare Excel spreadsheets on monthly savings reports and ad hoc reports as needed.
* Prepare data for monthly hospital-wide audit activities and annual audit for Retail Contract Pharmacy. Coordinate 340B compliance activities as requested.
* Resource Utilization:
* Ensure that appropriate supplies and equipment are available, accounted for, and used in a cost-effective manner.

Required qualifications for this position include:

* 1 year of Excel experience

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

* Associate's Degree/Bachelor's Degree in business or science related
* Current licensure by the State of Washington as a Registered Pharmacy Technician
* 1 year of Hospital pharmacy technician experience or finance experience
* 1 year of 340B experience
