This job will let you mix the pharmacy knowledge with sales and marketing. The candidate will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth by developing and maintaining strategic relationships, as well as advancing accounts by contacting ALFs, SNFs, hospices, and other treatment facilities on a regular basis and identifying key new partnerships within the California marketplace. We're searching for healthcare and business-minded professionals to join our team with a desire to advance their careers.Pharmacist Sales Specialist Responsibilities:Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the pharmacist sales specialist will be accountable for generating new businesses. Analyzing and expanding business operations toward sustained growth.Monitoring revenue streams and identifying opportunities to increase profitability.Building strong professional relationships with long-term care facilities, positioning Curenta as a leader in understanding the long-term care market and their needs as well as improving care of patients. Develop meaningful and productive professional relationships that demonstrate a genuine desire to help ALFs, SNFs, hospices to help their patients and strengthening industry partnerships.Develop a customized approach for each call on each customer to assess customer needs and increase sales Implementing marketing and sales strategies aimed at effectively selling and promoting Curenta services and products to ALFs, SNFs, hospices, and all different treatment centers.Performing competitor analysis toward obtaining an increased market share.Identifying new clients by researching and creating networking opportunities.Negotiating and closing business deals that promote sustained revenue.Evaluate and determine which facilities and centers have greatest opportunity to impact sales and use personalized communication techniques to build and maintain effective relationships with those entities.Effectively manage and prioritize time to ensure maximum customer penetration and sales volume.Pharmacist Sales Specialist Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or any related field to Pharmaceutical Sciences, preferred.Previous experience in Long-Term Care Facilities (Hospice, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, RCFEs) OR Treatment Centers, preferred.Experience in identifying profitable business opportunities and potential clients.Must be a self-starter and be able to evaluate options and make decisions on your own with minimal supervisionExceptional ability to analyze market trends and competitor behavior.Proven customer acumen and relationship building skills in a healthcare environmentCompetency in negotiating and closing business deals.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Proven leadership and decision-making abilitySolid understanding of long-term care, its different facilities, and their needs, coupled with aptitude for learning and ability to communicate technical and scientific terms and informationEducation and some knowledge of the Healthcare/Pharmaceutical industry and marketplace trendsPrevious success attaining and exceeding sales goals is a plus.A critical attribute of the role is the ability to take ownership of all aspects of the business.
