SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The purpose of this job is to enable pharmacy graduates to gain additional knowledge and experience beyond traditional academic experience, undergraduate pharmacy clerkships and general practice hospital residency experience. An incumbent participates in the developments and implementation of departmental goals and objectives to improve pharmaceutical services and standards of patient care. Promotes department's delivery of pharmaceutical care with the primary focus on patient outcome. An incumbent remains in this classification for a maximum of 12 months from date of hire.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

Graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy with a Bachelor's degree.

Didactic courses and experiential rotations in the clinical aspects of pharmaceutical care required.
