Job Description
As a part of the pharmacy team, oversees medication use throughout facility while on duty. Responsible for medication order review and entry, handling incoming provider and nursing calls for home facility and two sister facilities. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Reports to the Director of Pharmacy. Requires a bachelor's degree and/or a doctoral degree in pharmacy. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within hospital pharmacy. Requires pharmacist license for practicing in Missouri.
