Here is some of what you can expect from being a Pharmacist PRN with us:
* You will be responsible for the safe, effective and cost-effective use of drugs through the application of specialized knowledge, skills, and professional judgment
* You will perform drug packaging, patient billing, and all aspects of drug compounding and distributions
* You will provide drug information and clinical service to all health professionals and patients
* You will monitor all aspects of drug therapy in the facility
* You will supervise pharmacy technicians and interns
Qualifications you will need for this role:
* Current Pharmacist License by the Colorado State Board of Pharmacy
* Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) or Pharm. D. required
* Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
* Occasionally may require driving to deliver pharmaceuticals to off-site HealthONE pharmacies such as free-standing emergency departments or surgery centers; employee needs access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a current auto insurance policy
