Overview:

This position is responsible for performing the Clinical Pharmacist I functions as prescribed by law and regulation for Oklahoma and in accordance with the objectives, planning, and directives assigned to the areas of responsibility assigned by the Director.

Qualifications:

* Education: Requires a Bachelor Degree.

* Licensure: Current licensure as a pharmacist in Oklahoma.

* Preferred Experience: Hospital clinical experience or Internship in Hospital Pharmacy of at least 1,000 hours.
* Clinical Pharmacist will have the following skills:

1) Well developed communication and interpersonal skills

2) Well developed writing skills sufficient to design comprehensive and concise reports and proposals

3) Skill in effectively applying counseling techniques in the resolution of staff conflict, patient dissatisfaction, and other department employee skills

4) Skill in identifying and recommending training needs of staff.

* Limited knowledge: To direct all activities as assigned responsibilities to include:

1) the development and implementation of quality control procedures as directed

2) the participation on a multi-disciplinary team as directed

3) the development, implementation, and promotion of new programs as directed.
