**Responsibilities**

We can't begin to describe how much we appreciate our Pharmacists. Not only are they responsible for making sure our patients receive their prescribed medication, but they also have to work with those patients and their families on how and when to take them correctly. They sometimes have to get creative. They work for our patients, from reconciling medications from different healthcare professionals to talking to patients about medication discounts and coupons. Did we also mention they know how to run a pharmacy? From inventory to finances, they have it covered. If you are a gifted Pharmacist who is ready to make a true difference, let's talk.

**What you'll do:**

+ Compounds and dispenses medications. Interprets medication orders and/or prescriptions for drug interactions, appropriate drug selection and appropriateness. Accurately enters the order or prescription into computer system, labels, and dispenses medications in a timely manner.

+ Demonstrates ability to document clinical activities and interventions such as consults, patient teachings and other patient specific information as defined by policy and procedure.

+ Verifies and checks medications prepared by other pharmacy personnel.

+ Communicates drug information to patients and health professionals. Resolves drug related problems by consulting with other health care professional to achieve appropriate patient outcomes. Unclear orders written by a physician are clarified with a physician. Assists the physician in appropriate drug selection and therapeutic regimens.

+ Achieves and maintains an adequate basic knowledge base to provide clinical services for all age groups served. Provides basic clinical services as required by policy and procedure.

+ Maintains a working knowledge of automated systems

+ Responsible for technician activities and performance. Provides direction and guidance as needed.

+ Participates in the orientation, instruction and training of pharmacy students and interns, pharmacy technicians, residents, pharmacists and other health professionals.

+ Performs duties in documented accordance with requirements of all regulatory and governing bodies. Mandatory education from a system and department level is completed.

+ Patient counseling and drug information and documentation of such.

**Requirements:**

+ BS or Doctor of Pharmacy degree

+ Pharmacist License
