Now Hiring PRN Pharmacist for our New Orleans, Louisiana area Location
Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

We have been providing long-term care pharmacy services since 2007, but we originated as part of our independent retail pharmacy, Tarrytown Pharmacy, which has been serving the local community since 1941. Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manages the workflow processes which may include pharmacist verification and labeling/packaging
* Reviews medication orders and evaluates their appropriateness and completeness
* Complies with federal and local pharmacy laws as regulated by the appropriate State Boards of Pharmacy, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Food and Drug Administration.
* Performs all job duties with a friendly, positive, and team-oriented approach
* Maintains required licenses or certifications in good standing
* Complies with all company policies, procedures, rules, and standards
* All other duties as assigned by Pharmacist-in-Charge
Required Skills/Abilities:
* Minimum one year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy; 3 years preferred
* Must possess a Louisiana State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License
* Experience with FrameworkLTC and DocuTrack preferred but not required
* Positive personality who is able to work well within a team
* Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
* Can de-escalate and troubleshoot problems within the pharmacy
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to withstand long hours of computer screen time and deskwork
* Must be able to stand/be on feet for duration of shift
