We are currently recruiting for Pharmacist candidates who possess chemotherapy/oncology experience in an infusion pharmacy setting. This position will work collaboratively with our 14 physicians, nurse practitioners, oncology nurses, and other pharmacists as we provide infusion and oral oncolytic services for patients in 26 infusion our clinic. In this role, the oncology pharmacist will serve as a resource to the interdisciplinary team, and other pharmacists while delivering innovative practices that ensure safe and optimal medication management for the population we serve. This individual will participate in both operational and clinical duties of an oncology pharmacist as well as in direct patient care and educational/training activities. They will be required to know oncology protocols and be responsible for verifying chemotherapy orders per protocols, including dispensing of chemotherapy and sterile product admixtures for the infusion clinic. They will serve as a preceptor of pharmacy interns and a supervisor for compounding technicians.

Requirements include:

· Graduate from School of Pharmacy

· 2-3 years hospital/ infusion pharmacy experience, including sterile product admixture

· Ohio licensed Registered Pharmacist

· Strong chemotherapy and oncology background

· Effective communication and delegation skills.

Preferences include:

· Previous experience with aseptic techniques.

· BCOP certified

· Excellent people management skills.
