*Pharmacist*
*_Schedule_: Full time - Nights (7on-7off) with rotating weekends*
*_Location_: Medical City McKinney Hospital*

*POSITION SUMMARY:*
The*staff pharmacist*is responsible for providing drug therapy as well as patient and staff education for the purpose of achieving definite outcomes that improve a patient's quality of life. Completes physician medication orders, monitors patient medication therapy through the patient profile, and provides medication information. Cooperates with professional staff in designing, implementing, and monitoring a therapy plan to produce specific therapeutic outcomes for the patient. May have responsibility for the assessment, treatment and/or care of patients of all ages including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric. Supervises supportive personnel and may be required to assume managerial responsibilities in the absence of the Director.

*EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:*
* Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree or Doctor of Pharmacy degree
* Hospital experience required
*LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:*
* Current licensure as a registered pharmacist in the state of Texas
* License must be in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
