About This Role:

The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for a Pharmacist. This position will be the primary practicing pharmacist within the Veterinary Health Center Dispensary. It will be responsible to help maintain and assist in the directing of pharmacy-related services within the Veterinary Health Center.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from a program accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE), and one to three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Residency training in Veterinary Pharmacy/DICVP.
* Practical experience dispensing veterinary pharmaceuticals, clinical experience in a teaching hospital environment, and experience in preparation and dispensing chemotherapy.
* Training in compounding (USP 795, USP 797, and USP 800.
* Two years of working experience.
* Preceptor designation with the Kansas Board of Pharmacy.
* Previous experience/success precepting students.

Other Requirements:

* Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
* Current license to practice pharmacy in the State of Kansas with preceptor designation and PIC designation.

$90,372 - $149,114
