Paid Time Off (PTO)

CHAS Health offers up to 6 weeks of PTO per anniversary year for full time employees.

Loan Reimbursement Program that provides reimbursement for student loan payments up to $5,250 per year for CHAS Health employees working a minimum of 30 hours a week who have completed 90 days of employment and are in good standing. This program is for employees with qualified student loans that are not eligible for state or federal loan repayment programs.

Flexible Work Arrangements

Purpose of Job:

Improve the overall health of the communities we serve by providing pharmaceutical care in the following ways:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Reviews prescriptions and prepares medications for dispensing.
* Counsels' patients on medication drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage of pharmaceuticals.
* Provides clinical reviews of patient charts and operates under collaborative drug therapy agreement protocols.
* Aids in helping patients obtain insurance/patient assistance options.
* Acts as a part of the care team providing consultation for specific disease states.
* Maintains established procedures of quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and HIPAA.
* Directs pharmacy technicians, assistants, and interns.
* Accesses computer for data entry, pharmacy files, patient charts, and inventory.
* Utilizes cutting edge technology with electronic health records and Parata.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience: Rph or PharmD from accredited school of pharmacy. Current valid licensure in the state of Washington and/or Idaho required. Prior non-profit experience preferred.

Skills: Excellent oral and written communications skills required. Computer skills required.

Physical Demands:

Pharmacists must be able to move around the facility between 1/3rd and 2/3rds of the day, while sitting at a workstation occurs under 1/3rd of the day. Using hands and reaching with arms occurs over 2/3rds of the day. Communicating is also required over 2/3rds of the day, while climbing, stooping or crawling is minimal. Lifting up to 10 lbs occurs occasionally, while 25-50 lbs occurs infrequently.
