We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Pharmacist to join our team! Responsibilities What You'll Do The Pharmacist is a part of the healthcare delivery team and is responsible for the use of medications throughout the hospital. The successful candidate will be able to: Modifies medication dosages as determined by age and weight, renal function Correctly interprets/documents orders and intervenes on problem medication orders/drug interactions, ADRs, DUEs, errors Maintains accountability with drug use, including controlled drug inventory and management of hazardous waste Performs aseptic preparation of sterile products Participates in clinical pharmacy initiatives, patient teaching, code support, effective use of dosing protocols, tracking of clinical interventions Supervises the care provided by licensed and unlicensed personnel, in accordance with the current Idaho Pharmacy Practice Act What We Offer Competitive pay and benefits package including Health/Dental/Vision/401(k) match. Maintains current pharmacist and controlled substance license in Idaho. Possess computer skills for order entry, word processing, clinical interaction. Experience with drug use evaluations/monitoring, clinical interventions. Effective communication skills with allied health care practitioners. Experience in sterile products preparation, including TPN, Chemotherapy.
