THE POSITION

The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is seeking hard working and caring people who are dedicated to taking care of our residents. The PA Soldiers and Sailors Home offers Veterans and their spouses superior care.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will provide pharmaceutical services under the direction of the Chief Pharmacist at the PA Soldiers and Sailors Home.

Work Hours and Additional Information:

+ Part-time employment (18.7 hours per week).

+ Work Hours: Monday through Friday (Days Vary), 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM ; 30 minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

In compliance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements, if you are selected for this position, you must show, at the time of hire, verification that you have received either a single-dose COVID-19 vaccination, or both doses of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccination, unless you are exempt from receiving a COVID-19 vaccination due to an ADA or religious accommodation. If you fail or refuse to show the required verification at the time of hire, and you have not received an exemption from the CMS vaccination requirements, your employment will be terminated.

Qualifications:

+ Necessary Special Requirement - Possession of a license to practice pharmacy as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy.
