SCHEDULE: PRN/Per Diem

We are seeking a Pharmacist for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Job Summary:

* You will consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding patient reactions, errors and complaints.
* You will determine and consult on possible drug interactions.
* You will assist with quality improvement initiatives, inventory and ordering of pharmaceuticals.
* You will order medication based on clinical need in conjunction with formulary initiatives
* You participate in maintaining department formulary initiatives
* You communicate with appropriate medical, nursing and allied health professional staff members with regard to non-formulary decisions

Qualifications

* Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
* One Year of hospital experience preferred
* Computer skills
* Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
* Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 10 lbs.
