Job Summary and Qualifications

Role Summary: Interprets and evaluates appropriateness of physicians' orders and is responsible for accuracy of final product. Communicates drug information to all customers and provides pharmaceutical care.


What qualifications you will need:

  • Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy Preferred Education:
  • A residency and/or Pharm.D. degree is preferred
  • Required License: An active license to practice in North Carolina, or eligible to become licensed in North Carolina within 60 days
  • Preferred Experience: Previous hospital experience and/or pharmacy residency is desirable
  • Hospital experience of at least 3 years with oncology experience (required)
  • Board certification in Pharmacy (BCOP). (Preferred)
  • Pharmacy residency with an emphasis in oncology and/or PGY2 in Oncology (Preferred)
