Description
The Director of Pharmacy is a working department manager who is responsible for the overall operation, leadership, direction, and administration of the Pharmacy in accordance with State Pharmacy Board. Responsible for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the hospital within the Pharmacy and their effect on patient care. Provides leadership with consideration of WHHs mission, vision and values, and promotes an atmosphere of respect and encouragement for professional growth for all caregivers.
Serves as Pharmacist-In-Charge for Willapa Harbor Hospital Pharmacy Associated Clinics (HPAC) and all responsibilities and requirements thereof. Oversees all pharmacy workflow, system processes and operational requirements needed for pharmacy function. Monitors, analyses and reports on performance metrics on a regular basis. Will work in collaboration with other departments to ensure proper workflow and requirements are maintained. Plan, manage and attend pharmacy staff meetings and all other meetings related to pharmacy operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of a College of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council for Pharmaceutical Education. Have a current license from the State of WA.
Must have 340B experience.
