JOB RELATIONSHIPS Reports to Pharmacy Managers DEFINITION OF POSITION A Pharmacist is responsible for performance or supervision of various aspects of the medication use sytem: acquisition, preparation, distribution, monitoring, administration, and billing. QUALIFICATIONS Professional Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy Licensed and registered as a Pharmacist by the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy Prefer: six months experience as a pharmacist in an acute care setting or successful completion of accredited residency in health-system pharmacy Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Basic computer skills including keyboard data entry and Windows-based software navigation Basic office equipment skills including use of calculator, telephone, printer, # fax machine
