Job title: Product Scientific Specialist Location: Position will start onsite, then shift to hybrid role. Expect to be on-site 2-3x/week and to go to Upper Gwynedd for any larger team/department meetings (at least once/month). Duration: 12 Month contractJob Description: Qualifications: Education Minimum Requirements:
Graduate degree in Science or Medical-related profession (e.g., MS/MSN/PA/PharmD./Ph.D.). In addition, an RPh degree with >2 years of relevant Med Info or Medical review experience would be acceptable.
Required Experience and Skills: Experience with the following required skills:
Infectious Diseases and / or Vaccines experience preferred
Minimum 1-2 years pharmaceutical industry experience in Medical Information/Communications and/or Medical Review of promotional materials
Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Researchers and Manufacturers Association PhRMA Guidelines and FDA regulations regarding drug promotion and dissemination of medical information in response to unsolicited requests.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines. Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with all levels and roles in cross-functional global teams.
Proficient computer skills: IRMS, Veeva Vault, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, etc. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to interpret and communicate complicated scientific data effectively and concisely.
Preferred Experience and Skills: This resource may have worked previously in the Pharma industry in a consulting role.
May have promotional experience or have worked with agencies that are developing content/promotional review for pharma.
This candidate may have been a Pharmacist with their RPH (Registered Pharmacist) degree with experience.
