The successful candidate will be able to: Interpret and screen physician's orders for appropriate dosage, route of administration, and contraindications Detect and report suspected adverse drug reactions accurately and in a timely manner Prepare IV medications and TPN solutions; demonstrate knowledge of infusion pumps and the IV monitoring system Maintain accurate and precise documentation, particularly regarding the dispensing of narcotics and controlled substances Provide accurate, adequate, and timely drug information to hospital's professional staff Lend professional guidance and expertise to Pharmacy Interns and Residents; provide guidance and oversight to Pharmacy Technicians Qualifications What You'll Bring Doctor of Pharmacy degree required OK license required Must have a passion for excellence Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills Professionalism displayed through sound judgement, initiative, and flexibility Good interpersonal, communication, team-work, and customer service skills Strong organizational, problem-solving and follow-through skills Ability to multi-task constantly, react to changes quickly/productively, and tolerate interruptions Ability to perform work when no directions are given, and give directions to others Remain flexible, organized, professional and able to analyze, make sound decisions under stressful situations Demonstrate maturity and accountability
