An award-winning, patient-centered hospital seeks an experienced Manager of Pharmacy to join their prestigious healthcare organization in Central Delaware.

This 300+ bed facility is part of one of the largest healthcare systems in Delaware and is recognized nationally. They also received a Consumer Reports award for excellence in general nursing and overall quality of care.

As the Pharmacy Operations Manager you will join to dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality care to the community. The Pharmacy Manager's direct responsibility is to staff development of Pharmacists (Patient Care and Clinical), Pharmacy Technicians and Ancillary personnel in the Pharmacy Department. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy Department as well.

Minimum Education and Experience

Education:

B.S. Degree in Pharmacy

MBA, or PharmD degree with MBA

Experience:

5 years of experience in hospital pharmacy, 2 years supervisor experience

5 years of management/supervisory experience

Computer/Software Knowledge:

Working knowledge of pharmacy systems

Knowledge of Star System, Horizon Meds Manager, and related software for Automated Distribution Cabinets

Licensure/Certification

Registered in State of Delaware as a Pharmacist or eligible.
