Pharmaceutical Machine Operator - Weekend Day Shift

We are innovators focused on developing, manufacturing and commercializing specialty CNS pharmaceuticals from our own pipeline. We also maintain a stable contract manufacturing business that provides products to our at Proctor & Gamble, Mayne Pharmaceuticals and Agile Therapeutics. Currently, we are adding Pharmaceutical Machine Operators at our Grand Rapids location who will set up and operate extrusion and web equipment to meet cGMP, customer, and internal quality standards. This position maintains accurate production documentation, following cGMP and company policies, to ensure the quality of our products.

As a Pharmaceutical Machine Operator, you will:

* Maintain a working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
* Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting
* Accurately complete all required batch record production documentation
* Ensure production crew is on task and focused on safety, quality, and productivity
* Perform inventory material transactions
* Communicate with Crew Leaders, Shift Leaders, and Maintenance personnel with regards to process and equipment related issues
* Clean equipment and facilities
* Identify safety, quality, and productivity improvement opportunities
* Train other operator in the operation and troubleshooting of equipment

We believe our Pharmaceutical Machine Operators will be set up for success if they are an independent self-motivator with a high level of attention to detail. We also see them as an excellent communicator who possess the following:

* High school diploma or GED - required
* Ability to follow written instructions and procedures - required
* Strong team player with good interpersonal skills - required
* Minimum of years experience in a manufacturing environment - preferred (but willing to train!)
