Job Description

We have immediate needs at our Lancaster PA Campus within the following areas of testing:

  • Method development - Develop and optimize new methods for lifesaving medications
  • Biochemistry - Testing biological samples and help develop methods for controlling the safety of biopharmaceutical products before they are released to market.
  • Chemistry - Sample testing, data review, and method validation on new and existing products to help get medicines to patients faster

Position Responsibilities:

  • Run instrumentation independently including, but not limited to, HPLC, GC, MS, dissolution, PCR, Biological assays, and ELISA
  • Develop, optimize, transfer, and validate methods to support new formulations or pharmaceutical products
  • Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients
  • Preparing samples for analysis and running instrumentation with minimum supervision
  • Prepare standards and samples for analysis
  • Execute method transfer protocols
  • Document work as required for GMP compliance
  • Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment
  • Review and analyze data, prepare and present results as needed to support product decisions
  • Collaborative communication in a team environment and willingness to learn
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience
  • Previous experience within industry helpful, but not necessary
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
