Physical Requirements

This position requires sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time performing tasks such as data entry; repetitive motions; and occasionally standing or walking with objects up to 10 lbs.


Days; Monday through Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm

Job Summary

The Patient Access Pharmacy Technician is a specialty Certified Pharmacy Technician acting as an agent of the prescriber in the clinic setting as a triage technician in charge of documenting patient requests for prescription refills. Calls will be triaged based on prescriber protocol.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge and experience in pharmaceutical care and refill request processing; technical knowledge of ScriptPro and Epic; the ability to multi-task with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail; excellent communication skills (both written and verbal); and a demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service. Solid time management, problem solving, critical thinking, follow-through, and planning and organizational skills are all critical to the success of the individual in this position, and a high level of respect for confidentiality and diversity are a must.
