The Outpatient Antimicrobial Stewardship Project Lead directs projects related to antimicrobial stewardship in the outpatient setting to include strategy, design, planning, procurement, development, and implementation.  Responsible for budget preparation and project scheduling in coordination with all stakeholders across service lines.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 8 years of experience required. Master's Degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years leadership or healthcare equivalent experience preferred Minimum of four (4) years experience in Project Management or recent demonstrated project success of a Carilion multi-department leadership project. Minimum of two (2) years of pharmacy experience preferred.

Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Certification in Project Management preferred.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Must satisfactorily complete orientation processes. Demonstrated project management skills. Ability to build rapport and establish relationships through strong interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong presentation skills. Ability to work independently with minimal direction. Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet computer software and data analysis.
