PeaceHealth is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Endocrinology based in the Bellingham, WA community to join two full-time Endocrinologists.


Practice Highlights:
 

  • The practice is general, adult-only, with limited hospital work. Providers take own call during the week.  Call arrangements subject to change with growth of the clinic.
  • The practice works with a full range of Endocrine problems including: Type 1 and 2 diabetes management (with insulin pump starts and CGMS), Hyperthyroidism, Osteoporosis, Thyroid Cancer, Thyroid Nodule(s), Hyperparathyroidism, Pituitary conditions, Adrenal conditions, and Male Hypogonadism.
  • NP would be primarily responsible for diabetic patients, providing consults and follow-up visits. 
  • Experience and special interest in diabetes disease management is preferred.  Experience with insulin management and pump therapy management preferred.
  • Practice includes CDE/RD support and a certified AADE Education Program along with various office and clinical support.
  • Current clinic team includes:  2 Physicians, 4 clinical staff (1 RN, 1 LPN, 2 MAs), several Diabetic Educators, 2 office staff, and an office manager.
  • PeaceHealth uses EPIC ambulatory EMR.
